December Chesapeake Rockfish Report VIDEO

I trolled up a new personal best on the Good Samaritan - 43" length, 25" girth, and 30lbs. I was trolling out front of the radar towers on the western edge of the shipping channel in 50 feet of water, right on the bend and up on the ledge.

PODCAST: Maryland Fishing Line - June 4, 2010

We have got a lot planned for today - my good friend Dave Yost, or Striper Dave, is going to call in with a tidal fishing report. He has information on rockfish, drum, flounder, white perch and I think croaker.  We'll talk some freshwater fishing and touch a little on the ocean scene.  We will check out what is happening throughout our whole family of fishing websites.

PHOTO: Buzz's Marina Croaker Fishing Report

This croaker fishing report just came in from Christy down at Buzz's Marina.  Looks like croaker fishing out of Buzz's is really heating up.  This looks to be THE hot spot on the Bay right now in Southern Maryland for the hardhead.  Head down to Buzz's Marina and launch right where the fish are! Way to go guys, you know how to Catch'em Good!

First Reports of Breaking Bluefish

We got the first report of breaking bluefish from Buzz's Marina in Ridge, MD. Not many more details than that at this point, but here's a nice photo of angler Chuck Diamond with the first bluefish to come into the marina for 2010!
